Family Based Mental Health Services
Family Based Services are designed to assist families in addressing issues
within the family home situation that may be causing major problems and
could be cause for a child to be placed outside the home. The family will be
assigned two family therapists who will meet with you in your home. These
therapists have flexible work schedules which enables them to schedule
therapy times that are convenient for you and your family. We strive to
complete services within 6-8 months, although the time may be briefer or
longer based on the needs to your family. The average number of sessions is
typically one to three times per week, or more often if you require
additional services. Some of the services include:
- Individual Counseling for the child
- Family Counseling
- Mediation between family members
- 24 Hour on-call emergency service
- Co-parenting skills training
- Work with the schools to alleviate problems
